I’m Hayden Tomas — a front-end website developer based in Prestwood, Great Missenden, with over a decade of professional experience building websites that are fast, secure, and accessible.
I started writing code at the age of 9 on a Commodore Plus/4, copying BASIC commands from a manual and watching the screen light up with possibilities. That same sense of curiosity still drives me today — although thankfully, the tools have come a long way since Microsoft FrontPage!
Since 2011, I’ve been working professionally as a web developer, and I’m still with the same agency in High Wycombe. Over the years, I’ve worked with a wide range of technologies, building everything from marketing sites to fully custom web applications.
What I do
These days, I specialise in building accessible, AI-powered websites that are fast, clean, and designed to scale.
My core focus is WordPress development, but I also work with platforms like DNN, Magento, and Shopify. Depending on the project, I’ll either hand-code custom themes using Pinegrow and VS Code, or lean on GeneratePress to get sites launched quickly without sacrificing quality.
Beyond traditional development, I now integrate AI-powered tools and automations into the websites I build — helping clients save time, increase engagement, and future-proof their digital presence. Whether it’s a content assistant, an automated SEO audit, or a smart contact form that qualifies leads using GPT, I’m all about building sites that do more.
